PHS Mock Trial Wins Big!

On Saturday, February 25, after 2 days of competition and 4 rounds of trial presentations, the Poudre Mock Trial teams swept the Northern Colorado regional competition.  At the awards ceremony at the Weld County Courthouse, Poudre senior Pratheeksha Mallikarjun was chosen Best Witness from 13 competing teams by the presiding and scoring judges.  Junior Danielle Saldanha of our JV team was chosen as Best Attorney.

In addition, Poudre's JV team beat out 10 other teams to place 3rd in the competition and Poudre's varsity team beat 12 others to place 1st!  We are elated, and can hardly believe that both of our teams will get to represent PHS at the state competition March 9th and 10th.
