Dear Supporters of the IB Community,
In 1996, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program for 11th and 12th grade students was introduced at Poudre High School. Over the past 20 years, the IB program has evolved to include the Middle Years Program at 9th and 10th grade. And, today there are approximately 400 students in the Diploma Pathway grades 9-12.
We are proud of the reputation of Poudre’s IB program as one of academic excellence, preparing students with skills needed for success in the 21st century. Maintaining a program of this caliber, however, requires considerable financial support and encouragement from the school and broader local community.
To that end, the IB Education Fund was developed in 2010 to assist students with financial needs associated with their academic experiences while in high school. A donation to this fund can help students in one of two ways:
- Providing scholarships for exam and academic fees that average $950.00 per year.
Enhancing academic experiences beyond the classroom including field trips to view live theater and music performances, expeditions to CSU’s science laboratories, or guest speakers with knowledge and expertise linking classroom learning to skills needed for success after high school.
If you are interested in supporting these students and these experiences, we ask that you please consider making a tax-deductible donation in any amount to “PHS-IB” in the name of the IB Education Fund.
Your check can be mailed to:

A tax-deductible receipt will be mailed to you upon receipt of your donation. Your gift will benefit the IB Program by keeping it accessible to all students. If you have any questions about the Fund, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We greatly appreciate your support.
