The Poudre High School Nineteenth Annual Regatta Physics Boat Race 2012

The Physics Boat Race is a culminating activity for the Poudre High School college preparatory Physics classes each year.  A contest of ingenuity and resourcefulness, students form teams of two or three and construct a two-person boat made from nothing more than corrugated cardboard and white glue.  This year, two groups sent out three men in their boats.

Thanks to the Terry Lake Homeowner Association and the Kuehnast family; their tremendous cooperation makes this event possible.  An additional thank you to Gallegos Sanitation and the Impala Fund Grant for providing a roll-away dumpster.  The boat race was Saturday, May 19th at Gett’s Park on the east shore of Terry Lake.
