Please congratulate Ethan Hunter and Gillian Breuer who are the STATE CHAMPIONS in cross-examination debate for the state of Colorado!!
Joseph Han also deserves a shout out. After a quick appendectomy last Thursday evening, he and his dad decided that he should still compete at the State tournament on Friday. He went on to place 10th!
Kailee Bosch was awarded two National Medals in the Scholastics Art and Writing competition. This is a big deal! She is 1of 26 students from Colorado selected and she has been invited to Carnegie Hall in New York City to accept her award this summer.
The Wind Ensemble gave a really terrific performance this past Wednesday that they (and I) were really proud of and excited about. They received an overall 'Superior' rating (not easy to come by at this festival), and I just found out this morning that they are one of the bands selected to perform at the State Concert Band Festival on April 13 or 14 (we'll know our date later this week).
