Rob grew up in New Mexico and is the youngest of five children. He was recruited to Iowa State University on a swimming and academic scholarship. Upon graduation, Rob worked with various youth organizations until arriving in Fort Collins to pursue a teaching certification. Rob has over a dozen years of teaching experience. For the past six years, he has been teaching computer science courses at PHS and continues to build the program. He holds multiple Microsoft Technology Associate certifications and trains teachers using Code.org in Colorado, Utah, and across the nation.
Rob and his wife, Hannah, enjoy raising their three young children in Colorado. They enjoy camping, backpacking, hiking, climbing, swimming, exploring, and enjoying life outdoors. Rob also enjoys playing his guitar, banjo, and is the greatest fantasy football player of all time.
