I grew up in Utah and moved to Fort Collins to research killing thistle with fungus in my grad program at CSU. I switched gears and decided to go into teaching after working with undergraduate students and spending some time observing great teachers in Poudre School District. I am passionate about plant ecology and innovative science education. I love being outside, hiking, playing soccer, gardening and spending time with my family. I am expecting my second boy this fall.
