Mr. Golyer began his teaching career at Irish Elementary School in 2000, (PSD). He taught elementary physical education for three years. During that time he was promoted from an assistant wrestling coach to the head wrestling coach at Poudre High.
In 2003, Poudre High School hired him as a physical education and health teacher. He has taught: beginning and advanced weight training, adventure PE, foundations of health and wellness, CPR certification, International Baccalearate middle years program PE1, team sports, and Adapted/Integrated PE.
Certifications: Fly Solo (High school strength and conditioning, National Strength and Conditioning Association, NSCA), National Archery in the Schools (NASP), Colorado Youth Outdoors (Teacher Education)
Other: coached the PHS badminton team (2009, 2010, 2014 state team champions), co-coached PHS archery (2016 Colorado NASP state team champions)
