I started college at the University of Hartford in Hartford, Connecticut studying engineering. I transferred to Colorado State University and earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Finance with a minor in Mathematics. I returned to Colorado State University for my secondary math education teacher certificate and my Masters in Educational Leadership.
I grew up in Windsor Locks, Connecticut before moving to Stuart, Florida. I graduated from Martin County High School in Stuart. While in high school, I competed in cross-country and track. Growing up on the east coast gave me a love of the ocean and the beach. After coming to Fort Collins for college, I decided to make it my home. I have 2 adult daughters, Katherine and Grace, both Poudre High School graduates. I started coaching Cross-Country at Poudre High School in 1996 as an assistant coach. In 2015, I became the Head Coach for Cross-Country. I love to play in our beautiful outdoors, including paddle boarding on Horsetooth Reservoir, hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and back country skiing up Cameron pass.
