Ms. McCorkel grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. She attended Colorado State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education. She pursued her master’s endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. She has taught both Spanish and English Language Development. She began her teaching career at Boltz Middle School in Fort Collins, Co and has been teaching at Poudre High School since 2002 .She currently teaches English Language Development.
Ms. McCorkel loves to travel and be outdoors. She has had the great fortune to spend time and occasionally teach English in Peru, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Spain.
