Gifted & Talented

At Poudre High School, the Gifted and Talented Program is focused on students gaining independence in their learning and creating their ALP goals. Poudre High School offers a variety of rigorous course options for Gifted students to access and grow through our International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, Advanced Placement (AP) Courses and Concurrent Enrollment (CE). Students also get involved in the many activities PHS offers through our school sponsored and student lead clubs. As students navigate their high school world, the PHS counseling department is available for your student to address any concerns, help them select classes that align with their academic and affective ALP goals.
How the ALP works at PHS: Students will receive an assignment in Xello where they will create their ALP with an academic and affective goal. These should be goals that help guide the student throughout the school year.
