About Me:

My name is Matt Benson and this is my 7th year at the helm of the PHS Library Media Center. This is my 16th year of teaching, my 7th year as an Impala, and my 7th year as a media specialist/teacher librarian. Prior to Poudre, I spent 3 years teaching high school social studies in Fort Morgan, CO followed by 6 years of teaching social studies and computer technology at Lincoln Middle School (PHS's premier feeder school, Go Lancers!!). 

My professional passions include literacy, research, educational technology, virtual reality, and makerspaces. My personal passions include disc golf, cycling, stand-up paddle boarding, snowboarding, camping, and hiking.

I have an amazing wife, Dr. Benson, 2 incredible kids, and 2 crazy dogs!
