At PHS, the IB Middle Years Program(MYP) philosophy is implemented in all classrooms. In the IB Pre-Diploma pathway students can expect classes that move at a quick pace, an increase in reading and writing, and to complete service hours and a personal project. This pathway encourages students to consider different perspectives, promotes understanding of other cultures and ideas, and prepares students with the skills needed to be successful in whatever path they choose whether it is the IB Diploma Program, AP, Concurrent Enrollment or general education courses
