MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE
Friday, May 22 at CSU Moby Gym at 11:00 a.m. Please be on the floor inside at Moby by 10:45 a.m. Attendance is required!
What you need to know about ceremonies at Moby Arena:
Number of Guests
There is no limit to the number of guests per graduate who may attend.
When to Arrive
Doors open to guests one hour before the ceremony.
Parking
Attendants will direct families to free parking in lots to the west and north of Moby. Please consider carpooling or other ways to reduce the number of vehicles.
Where to Enter Moby Arena
Graduates enter through the southern, lower doors. Guests enter through the northern, upper doors.
Magnometers
CSU requires that all guests and employees pass through a metal detector. Alternative accommodations for screening will be provided for those who need it. Guests who refuse screening will be denied entry. All personal items, including cameras, must go through the metal detectors.
Clear-Bag Policy, Water Bottles, and Food
Moby has a clear-bag policy and limits on the size of bags allowed. Read more here about what is and is not permitted. It is best to bring no bag at all, if possible. Guests may bring transparent, non-hard water bottles. Moby concessions will not be open.
Seating
There is no reserved seating and no tickets required.
Programs
Each graduate will receive 2 printed programs when they pick up their cap and gown. QR codes will be hung around Moby for program access during graduation.
ADA Accessibility
CSU does not have wheelchairs; please bring one if needed.
You may drop members of your party off near the west entrance of Moby before proceeding to parking. One individual may sit with a guest in ADA-accessible seating, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interpretation Services
PSD interpreters will be available for Spanish-speaking families. Attendants will direct families to Section M where they may sit for these services.
PSD interpreters will be available for hearing-impaired interpretation service. Attendants will direct families to Section N where they may sit for these services.
