Born and raised in California, I decided to join the great migration and come to Colorado back in 2006. I am married and have two children, ages 18 and 13. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2013 with my bachelor's degree in History and social behavioral sciences. In 2015 continued on and finished my master's degree (Go CSU) in Educational leadership, renewal, and change, with a minor in educational sciences. I am deeply passionate about the humanities and have had the wonderful opportunity to teach a diverse spread of classes through my career. I believe strongly in providing education that is accessible and relevant to all students, and the goal of my classroom is to help develop informed and participant members of a democratic society.
