I grew up a cattle ranch in southwestern Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State University with a Mathematics degree, I lived abroad for two years. Upon returning, I became a math teacher at PHS. While teaching, I earned my Masters in Math (with an emphasis in Education) from the University of Northern Colorado and a National Board Teaching Certificate. 

As an MYP Coordinator, I oversee 10th grade students' IB Personal Projects. I also co-coordinate the IB Extended Essay and CAS.
