I have had the privilege of working in the Poudre High School Library for the past 17 years. As a proud Poudre High School alumna from the Class of 2008, I truly believe that once you’re an Impala, you’re always an Impala!
I have a deep passion for reading and a genuine love for helping students discover the joy of books. I am rarely without a book in hand, and I love that reading allows me to explore new ideas, perspectives, and places. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping students find a book they can connect with—especially students who don’t consider themselves readers. Seeing a student discover a book they enjoy brings me so much joy.
In addition to supporting students with their reading needs, I manage the Poudre High School's textbook and class novel program. I work closely with both students and staff to ensure they have the textbooks and materials they need throughout the school year.
I am incredibly proud to be a Poudre High School Impala and grateful for the opportunity to serve the school community I love.
I was honored to receive the Impala Award in May 2013 and September 2015, and I was a nominee for ACE Employee of the Year in 2019.
“I am who I am because of who we are. We are Poudre Impalas.”
