I was born and raised in Shanghai, China, an amazing city that perfectly explains what is east meets west. Growing up in such a diverse environment made me appreciate the different cultures.

 I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, traveling and teaching. I believe language is more than a communication tool; it is also a mirror reflecting how people think and view the world.
