SEATING ASSIGNMENTS - The seating assignments for graduation practice and the graduation ceremony are the same.  These assignments will be posted in the hallway across from the Counseling Office.  You need to carefully check this posting for your name, side, row, seat location, and other important instructions. Sorry, parents and students cannot request where a graduate is seated.

CAP / GOWN / TASSEL - You are required to wear a cap, gown, & tassel at Commencement.  They will be handed out beginning Monday, May 20th.  You will need your STAMPED checkout sheet in order to get your cap and gown.  Remember, you keep the cap, tassel, and the gownThe Tassel - The tassel is to be worn over the left temple.  Tassels should never be pinned or sewed; they should be permitted to hang naturally.  The Gown - If you need to press the gown, do so with a warm iron, not a hot one!

DRESS FOR GRADUATION:  There can be no alterations, additions, or changes to your cap, gown, or tassel. Any changes or additions must be removed or fixed prior to walking, so please leave them in their original form. All graduation gowns will be blue.  Ladies should wear a dress with no collar, or a skirt or dress pants with a collarless top and dress shoes. Gentlemen need not wear a jacket, but they should wear a shirt, a tie, dress slacks and dress shoes.  Dress boots are appropriate, if they are polished.  No flowers, ornaments, or any other decorations are to be worn with caps & gowns.  Faculty will check your manner of dress, your caps, and your gowns before you march.  This dress code is required!   There will be no place to change or leave any garments at C.S.U. on Saturday.

PHOTOGRAPHS - There will be press and yearbook photographers on the floor during graduation.  We are not allowing any parents, friends, or relatives to photograph on the gym floor during commencement!  Because we have had difficulties with friends and relatives of graduates interrupting the flow of graduates going to and from the stage, as well as disconnecting wires of the sound systems, a professional photographer will take a picture of you receiving your diploma.  A proof, that you may keep for no charge, will be sent to you via mail if you filled out an address card so that you may order as many prints as you wish.  Flyers with contact information for the photographers will be handed out with the cap and gown.

ADA ACCESSIBLE SEATING - Handicapped seating is provided in the first two rows on the North and South sides of the gym.  A sign-language interpreter will be stationed in Section N on the South side of the gym.

FINAL GRADES - Final grades will be available early-June by logging in to ParentVUE and StudentVUE.
