Bus Request Information 2026-27 School Year

News
From PSD Transportation:

Poudre School District aims to transport as many students as possible to and from school. To ensure that families needing transportation receive this service, riders must apply for busing each year, even if they’ve had busing before.

Families of eligible students may now request transportation for the 2026-2027 school year online here

What you need to know when submitting a request:

  • Please verify your students’ address is accurate! If you have moved, please update your address with the school or inside your ParentVue account. Please allow 24 hours for the form to update.
  • Transportation for students who receive transportation through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) must contact their case manager at the student's school to request busing for the school year.
  • Busing is NOT provided for students who attend a school of choice or PSD-authorized charter school. If your student is eligible for busing at their neighborhood school but is switching to a school of choice, they will not receive busing.
  • Alternate bus requests will not be accepted for students in the walk area or for multiple addresses.

After you submit a request:

  • All bus eligible requests submitted prior to July 17th will be assigned busing for the start of school. Families will receive bus assignment information approximately one week before the start of school.
  • Bus-eligible requests submitted after July 17 may not be approved until after the first week of school.
  • Students are required to ride their assigned bus at least every 10 consecutive school days. Bus requests may be submitted anytime throughout the school year, for students who do not need to utilize busing until later in the school year.

Questions? Visit the Transportation FAQs webpage or email busrequest@psdschools.org.

Thank you for your partnership. It is our honor to safely transport your student.

Sincerely,

Poudre School District Transportation
