Freshman transition day and registration for freshman
We are SO glad you are an Impala! Incoming PHS Ninth graders will get to experience all things “Poudre High School” a day before the rest of the student body arrives. Students will beled by their Ubuntu leaders (trained upperclassmen leaders) meeting students in their Pathway, exploring PHS, getting their pictures, school IDs, laptops, AND traveling to their classes to meet their teachers. Breakfast and lunch are free for all students. Students can get breakfast from 8:35-9:05 and all students should plan to join us by 9:05 to kick off the day. Students do not need to bring any supplies but can bring a bag, water bottle, or pack their own lunch if they
prefer. Students will have access to their schedules but are encouraged to check them beforehand and have them handy (either on phones or as a hard copy).
August 19th
First day of school for all students - NO BACKPACK DAY
We are excited to start the year with our 5th annual “No Backpack Day” because we believe that the first day of school should be FUN! Impalas will spend the day building connections with one another and our Poudre staff with activities throughout the day. “No Backpack Day” is kind of a silly name because, of course, students can bring backpacks, but this day will not be focused on academic content and instead on connection as it kicks of our 26-27 year! Go Poudre! Please be aware, this is NOT a late start.
